Tottenham survive early scares to ease past Burnley

Tottenham 4 Burnley 2: Tottenham survived leaking two early goals to ease past Burnley 4-2 at White Hart Lane and into the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Burnley raced into a 2-0 lead in seven minutes, Marvin Sordell breaking a 12-game duck and Ross Wallace’s free-kick deflecting heavily off Roberto Soldado.

Paulinho hit back for Spurs in the 10th minute, before Etienne Capoue levelled on the stroke of half-time.
