Dunne: Galway will give it everything

It’s advantage Galway going into the second and decisive leg of their promotion/relegation play-off against UCD at Eamonn Deacy Park tonight (kick off 7.45pm) , after the First Division team struck late to beat their Premier Division opponents 2-1 away from home in the first leg.

Dunne: Galway will give it everything

“It’s the biggest game in Galway for years,” says manager Tommy Dunne, who previously led Cork City into the top flight. “It’s going to be difficult. We’re at home and I expect us to give everything and hopefully we can perform and not do anything silly. Any result wins it for us. It’s just about getting over the line.”

In a boost for the visitors, UCD manager Aaron Callaghan welcomes back two of his most experienced players in Robbie Creevy and Robbie Benson from suspension.
