Classy Coleman will only get better, gushes Martinez

Roberto Martinez has hailed Seamus Coleman as "one of the most consistent full-backs in the league" and has insisted there is better to come from the Donegal man.

The Republic of Ireland international scored in the win over Aston Villa last weekend, his first game following an injury lay-off, to the delight of his manager.

Martinez said: “I thought his performance was really good at the weekend but it was nothing that surprises or impresses me too much because I’m used to seeing Seamus so consistent. In the last 13 months, he has been for me one of the most consistent full-backs in the league and it was great to see him back out there.
