Shels and Pat’s face off

Following a first drawn game at Richmond Park and then a replay at Tolka Park which had to be abandoned due to floodlight failure, Shelbourne and St. Patrick’s Athletic will be looking to settle the issue at the third attempt when they meet in their rescheduled FAI Ford Cup third round game tie at Tolka Park tonight (kick off 8pm).

Shels and Pat’s face off

First Division Shels go into the game still three points behind leaders Longford Town having shared the spoils in a scoreless draw at Tolka on Friday, a game whose kick-off had to be brought forward as repair work continued on the fault lights.

Meanwhile, on the same night, reigning Premier League champions St Pats came away with an impressive three points after winning 1-0 in Derry.
