Van Gaal short a winger

Louis van Gaal says he will only bring in new players when he needs to but admits Manchester United are lacking a winger of Angel Di Maria’s class.

“We don’t have wingers of the highest level, like Ronaldo or Di Maria or somebody like that,” Van Gaal said. “So, I have to play in another way — and you have seen that already. I only buy when I think we need to buy — in the position that is necessary.”

Meanwhile, Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is hoping Arturo Vidal will stay at the club, despite reports linking him with a move to United. “He (Vidal) is training to get fit. We all want him to stay at Juve,” said Pogba.
