Celtic lure hard to ignore

Kevin Doyle knows all about the allure of Celtic, so won’t be surprised if Roy Keane leaves his country behind again for the golden gates of Paradise.

The Bhoys were close to recruiting Doyle from Wolves on transfer deadline day in January 2013, only for the deal to collapse just minutes before the window shut.

Though the Wexford man never played alongside Keane at international level, he enjoyed him being his assistant manager at international level for the last six months, and seemed genuinely stunned at the real prospect of losing him after just six months.
