Germany switch a real option for Ireland goalkeeper Forde

David Forde goes into the summer not at all sure of where he will be at the end of it.

But, unlike many other players who are out of contract at this time of year, the Millwall goalkeeper is entitled to feel he can assess his future from a position of strength.

“I’m in talks with Millwall, they’ve made me an offer so we’re back and forth and there is a few others sniffing around so I’ll just get this week out of the way and the big game Saturday against Italy,” he says. “I’ve got a contract until the end of the June.
