Shane’s wife blasts ‘vile’ West Brom fans

Shane Long’s wife vented anger against West Brom fans who abused her husband after Hull’s 2-0 win which brought their four-year-old daughter Teigan to tears.

Long was transferred from West Brom to Hull in January much to the fans' disgust and against the wishes of new boss Pepe Mel in a move that could cost the Baggies their place in the Premier League.

Albion fans gave Long a warm welcome when he ran onto the pitch but were convinced Long dived to gain the penalty that led to the first goal and even though the Tipperaryman refused to celebrate his goal, Hull’s second, West Brom fans booed him the rest of the game.
