Irish winger Hunt eyes long-term future at Portman Road

Republic of Ireland international winger Stephen Hunt hopes he is doing enough to convince Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy to hand him a new contract.

Hunt joined Ipswich on a short-term deal in November having been searching for a club since being released by relegated Wolves last summer.

Having also played for McCarthy at Wolves, the 32-year-old is keen to at least secure a deal for next season.
