Ndo to auction medals for Gary O’Neill cancer fund

Sligo Rovers midfielder and League of Ireland legend Joseph Ndo is auctioning off three of his medals to help raise funds for Drogheda United’s Gary O’Neill, who has testicular cancer.

Sligo beat Drogheda 3-1 in a thrilling FAI Cup Final at the Aviva Stadium, and Ndo’s winner’s medal from that game is one of the three he is generously donating.

The other two are from his career as a Cameroonian international — a World Cup participation medal from 2002 and an African Cup Of Nations Winner’s medal from the same year.
