Doyle: ‘If you jump ship it’s not always a bed of roses’

Republic of Ireland striker Kevin Doyle has broken his silence to insist he is happy to stay at Wolves and is keen to help the club “right some wrongs”.

Doyle has been at the centre of intense speculation about his future all summer following Wolves’ relegation to League One.

But a combination of his high wages and a £2 million asking price ensured he remained at Molineux after the transfer window shut on Monday night despite a late move from Leicester City to try and sign him.
