Republic of Ireland striker Kevin Doyle has broken his silence to insist he is happy to stay at Wolves and is keen to help the club “right some wrongs”.

But a combination of his high wages and a £2 million asking price ensured he remained at Molineux after the transfer window shut on Monday night despite a late move from Leicester City to try and sign him.
