Flying Saints look to maintain charge

They’re top of the table and now they’ve got the top man in the league.

The Airtricity/Soccer Writers Association of Ireland Player of the Month award for May was presented to St Patrick’s Athletic midfielder Killian Brennan, who confirmed the club’s current supremacy by beating team mates Christy Fagan and John Russell into second and third place.

“I’ve felt as if I’ve been playing well,” says the midfielder ahead of Pats’ trip to play Dundalk at Oriel Park this evening. “While chipping in with a few goals is always nice, our performances have been good and as a team we are flying at the moment.”
