Arsene Wenger has warned his Arsenal team how they perform over the Premier League run-in will decide his summer transfer plans.

The Gunners host relegation-battlers Reading today aiming to stay within striking distance of the Champions League places, having closed up to just four points behind rivals Tottenham and with a match in hand.

Wenger is set to have a bumper war chest with which to improve the squad when the transfer window reopens — and the Arsenal boss wants his players to show him there is no need to bring in reinforcements for their position by finishing what has been a testing campaign in style.
