Dunne seeking another City lift
Cork City welcome Derry City to Turner’s Cross tomorrow looking to maintain their own unbeaten start to the campaign. Brian Lenihan is Tommy Dunne’s only definite absentee, though he has slight doubts over the fitness of both Daryl and Neal Horgan. Dunne said: “I think, at home, we can give anybody a match with the crowd behind us. It is important we perform well, and I do not see any reason why we cannot pick up the three points.”
Inspections will be carried out at Richmond Park and Belfield ahead of this evening’s games, while heavy rain has also cast doubts over the condition of the pitch at Tolka Park before tomorrow’s televised clash between Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers.
