Lennon hung up on reporter’s wife

Celtic boss Neil Lennon displayed an impressive sense of humour when his press conference was twice interrupted by a reporter’s wife yesterday.

The journalist was using his mobile phone to record the meeting but neglected to switch off the call function. It rang just as Lennon began to speak, and on learning the lady’s name , he said: “Sharon, you going to stop interrupting my press conference please. This is Neil Lennon.”
