Dunne return date up in the air

Republic of Ireland international central defender Richard Dunne may be back in training at Aston Villa but manager Paul Lambert has revealed he hasn’t got a clue when he will be playing again.

Dunne has launched a new comeback at Villa after having a third operation to sure the hip and groin problems that he suffered at last summer’s European Championships.

But, having seen Dunne break down on his two previous comeback attempts, Lambert isn’t going to be setting the 33-year-old Ireland stalwart any particular comeback targets.
