Dunne won’t be rushed back by Lambert

Republic of Ireland central defender Richard Dunne has made a successful return to training at Aston Villa following his third groin operation.

Dunne is now on course to be fit for Ireland’s two World Cup qualifiers against Sweden and Austria in March.

But manager Paul Lambert will not be rushing him back just yet to boost Villa’s battle against relegation.
