Dunne injury nightmare continues

Republic of Ireland international central defender Richard Dunne has broken down on his comeback at Aston Villa.

Dunne, who has had two groin operations on the injury he picked up at the European Championships, is to seek further specialist advice. Manager Paul Lambert has admitted Dunne’s continuing problems are a worry.

“The injury is just not clearing up and this has got to be a real nightmare for Richard,” said Lambert.
