Sorry City are already out, declares Mourinho

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho last night taunted Manchester City, claiming their Champions League bid is already over — and that it must hurt.

The Premier League winners, who have taken just two points from their opening four games, must beat the Spanish giants in their Group D clash at the Etihad Stadium tonight to retain even a slim hope of reaching the knockout stages.

Even then they would need to follow up by beating Borussia Dortmund in Germany in a fortnight and still hope other results went their way.
