A bad year for Stephen Hunt has become much worse with news that the Wolves man will be sidelined until next year with a hip injury.

The winger needs surgery to rectify the problem, and manager Stale Solbakken has said that it is impossible to put a timescale on how long his recovery will take, other than to confirm his absence will be a lengthy one.

Hunt has been struggling with a hernia for most of the year and Solbakken thinks that this new problem is linked to that.
