MSL’s winning start to Ward Cup defence

The Munster Senior League selection got their defence of the Michael Ward Cup off to a winning start with a 2-1 victory over a battling Connacht at O’Shea Park last night.

In last night’s other game in Passage, the Ulster Senior League and the Leinster Senior League shared 10 goals in a remarkable 5-5 draw.

Today’s games both kick-off at 1pm, where the MSL meet the USL at Corinthians Park, while the LSL will take on the Connacht selection at Everton Park.
