Drogs out to bounce back with win over Bohemians

High-flying Drogheda United will be looking to get their Airtricity League title challenge back on track having lost for the first time in eight outings to leaders Sligo Rovers last week, getting on the wrong end of a 4-1 hiding.

There was instant and morale-restoring revenge for the Drogs against Sligo in the EA Sports Cup, however, but they will be expected to face a tough test tonight against an over-achieving Bohemians side at Hunky Dory’s Park.

Bohs have put together a five-game unbeaten run and trail fourth-placed St Patrick’s Athletic by just three points so a win in this game could put them right in contention for a European spot.
