Purcell keeps Cork rolling on

Tommy Dunne’s side had the perfect start when a cross from winger Daryl Horgan on the left after just four minutes was headed home by unmarked striker Tadhg Purcell from eight yards, giving keeper Darren Quigley no chance.

Bray did have an opportunity to draw level five minutes later when Cork defender Danny Murphy was shown the yellow card for a foul on Marty Waters. However, the resulting free by Kevin Knight was confidently grabbed by keeper Mark McNulty.
