Hummels on mission to dump Dutch

Germany defender Mats Hummels cannot wait for the chance to send the Netherlands out of Euro 2012 and book a place in the quarter-finals with victory in Kharkiv on Wednesday.

A 1-0 win over Portugal on Saturday combined with the Dutch side’s unexpected 1-0 defeat to Denmark means Germany have both nations’ fate in their hands when they meet in Kharkiv.

Victory or even a draw may be enough to take Germany into the last eight while the Dutch simply must beat their neighbours to stand any chance of remaining in the competition.
