Davin O’Neill’s second hat-trick of the season saw Cork City maintain their recent run of good form with a deserved victory following late drama against UCD at a wet Turner’s Cross last night.

UCD equalised for the second time 11 minutes from time but two late O’Neill goals saw Cork pick up their 10th point out of the last 12 on offer.

The home side started the brighter on the slick surface and had two good chances to go in front early on. O’Neill and Vinny Sullivan going close.
