Croatian Jelavic’s Everton form bad news for Trap

While the return to action of Richard Dunne at the weekend will have provided reason for Giovanni Trapattoni to be cheerful ahead of Euro 2012, there was a reason to be fearful provided at Goodison Park.

Nikica Jelavic scored twice as Everton routed Fulham 4-0 to take his tally to 10 since arriving from Rangers in January.

The striker’s superb form will be a worry for the Ireland manager ahead of Ireland’s Euro 2012 opener against Croatia in Poznan on June 10.
