Former Monaghan manager Mick Cooke made a triumphant return to Gortakeegan last night as high-flying Drogheda claimed the three points despite going down to ten men just before half-time.

Declan O’Brien broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute when he capitalised on some indecision in the home defence and slotted the ball into the net.
