Finals tickets pitched at last of Irish big spenders
60,000 seats out of a total of 1.4 million tickets at the tournament have been reserved for what UEFA designates its Official Hospitality Programme — or what Roy Keane used to call the prawn sandwich brigade. And yesterday, at the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin, UEFA made its pitch to the Irish corporate sector, launching its Club Prestige packages for the Group C games against Croatia, Spain and Italy.
Irish businesses are being offered two options: Club Prestige Platinum and Club Prestige Gold on either a three-match or match by match basis. The Platinum option offers match tickets, access to a private skybox, a premium gourmet dining experience, preferential parking and other benefits. Club Prestige Gold is more informal and, as well as premium seats in the stadium, includes the opportunity to mix in a designated hospitality area, pre- and post-match buffet, live entertainment and parking.
