Keane back in the goals for LA

Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane got back on the goal trail in the early hours of Monday morning, scoring twice to help LA Galaxy to a 3-1 win over DC United.

Keane’s goals were his first for LA Galaxy since his return to America after his loan spell with Aston Villa and ended a frustrating spell in front of goal for the former Tottenham man.

Keane’s trademark somersault celebration was missing after his first goal and he revealed his subdued reaction was down to frustration at his wastefulness in front of goal of late.
