Wenger: This win proves our spirit

Arsene Wenger believes his Arsenal side proved their critics wrong by thrashing Tottenham and has now challenged his team to finish above their north London rivals.

Wenger’s men were criticised after their woeful performances in losing heavily to both AC Milan and Sunderland in their last two games, with a number of supporters questioning whether the manager should leave the club at the end of the season.

Yet they answered a number of questions about their character and resourcefulness by storming back from two goals behind in a stunning game at the Emirates.
