Villas-Boas hopes for early Terry return

It’s not all bad news for Chelsea — Andre Villas-Boas hopes John Terry can make a quicker than expected return from his injury setback.

Terry is facing up to eight weeks out after being told he requires surgery to repair his damaged knee. But Villas-Boas believes he could be back in half that time.

“Four weeks would be excellent, but normally it’s six weeks,” he said. “We’ll have to wait and see how the operation goes. Four weeks? Hopefully the player can return in that time frame.”
