Raheny win to go top

Raheny United have usurped Peamount United at the summit of the Bus Éireann FAI Women’s National League with a 2-0 win at Greenogue yesterday afternoon.

Second-half goals from Seana Cooke and Rebecca Creagh ensured Raheny defeated Peamount for the second time this term.

Elsewhere Valerie Mulcahy inspired a Cork Women’s FC revival at Celtic Park as the Leesiders came from behind to beat Castlebar Celtic FC 4-1 while Shamrock Rovers beat Wexford Youths Women’s AFC 2-0.
