AVB spurns Ancelotti’s Drogba claims

ANDRE VILLAS-BOAS has rejected Carlo Ancelotti’s claims Chelsea need to sell Didier Drogba for Fernando Torres to flourish.

Ancelotti, who Villas-Boas succeeded as Blues boss last summer, suggested £50m man Torres had failed to shine at Stamford Bridge because Drogba “devours” all of his goal-scoring rivals.

New Paris St Germain manager Ancelotti insisted the only solution was to get rid of Drogba but Villas-Boas said: “For me, it’s not the case.
