Trap, Tardelli to attend awards banquet

GIOVANNI TRAPATTONI and Marco Tardelli will tonight attend the Airtricity/Soccer Writers of Ireland Awards banquet in Dublin.

They will be among a host of Irish football personalities at the annual ceremony, taking place this year in the Conrad Hotel, at which the winners of the Personality and Goalkeeper Of The Year awards will be announced.

The six nominees for the Personality of the Year award are former Shamrock Rovers now Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill, Cork City manager Tommy Dunne, Sligo Rovers boss Paul Cook, Pat Sullivan of Shamrock Rovers, Joseph Ndo of Sligo Rovers and Derry City’s Eamon Zayed.
