O’Neill may quit Rovers after Europa clash

MICHAEL O’NEILL’S future as manager of Shamrock Rovers is in doubt amid reports he will leave the club after Thursday night’s Europa League clash at Tallaght Stadium.

O’Neill has been in charge at Rovers for three years and his contract will come to an end after Thursday’s clash.

Sunday newspaper reports claimed the 42-year-old has decided to seek a fresh start elsewhere after final talks on a new deal with the Rovers board broke down in Dublin over the weekend.
