Reid ready for Trap’s call

STEPHEN REID has declared himself ready to answer Giovanni Trapattoni’s call for Euro 2012 — but only if Ireland’s squad is ravaged by injury.

“I never said I would never go back,” he said. “I have said it before the Euro squad that qualifies is the one that deserves to go.

“If they have a few injuries and it is a case of struggling for numbers and I get a call, then you never know.

“You can never say never and I am just concentrating on West Brom and those international breaks are great times to recuperate before the next league game.”
