LIMERICK have failed in their appeal against the decision to award Monaghan three points after Finn Harps fielded an ineligible player.

The decision of the independent arbitrator was issued last night in relation to Limerick’s hearing.

The hearing was requested by the club after Harps forfeited their September 3 match against Monaghan for fielding an ineligible player.
