Fernandes to dig deep again for Warnock

QPR chairman Tony Fernandes is proud of the progress being made at the club and promised to back manager Neil Warnock in the January transfer window.

The Malaysian business tycoon’s takeover of the club in late August provided the financial clout for Warnock to sign six new players in the last week of trading.

The majority of those featured in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Blackburn, where Christopher Samba’s towering header denied the Rs a first home victory after Heidar Helguson’s cross-shot broke the deadlock.
