The Malaysian business tycoon’s takeover of the club in late August provided the financial clout for Warnock to sign six new players in the last week of trading.

The majority of those featured in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Blackburn, where Christopher Samba’s towering header denied the Rs a first home victory after Heidar Helguson’s cross-shot broke the deadlock.
