Robbie gets a rap from Trap

ROBBIE KEANE received a rap from Trap after it emerged that the skipper had played on through the pain barrier in Andorra.

Keane aggravated an existing abductor muscle injury in the build-up to Kevin Doyle’s goal on Friday night but didn’t inform the Irish management, believing it was an injury which he could run off.

However, a subsequent scan revealed the problem to be more serious forcing Ireland’s record-scorer to miss Tuesday night’s victory over Armenia and making him a doubt for next month’s play-offs.
