New Blues deal for Bosingwa

CHELSEA are poised to extend Jose Bosingwa’s stay at Stamford Bridge until at least 2013.

The Blues are close to activating a clause in the right-back’s contract, which would add a year to the deal that currently expires next summer.

The club are also considering offering him a new contract, something that would cap a remarkable turnaround for the Portugal international. There had been the option for player and club to part ways in the summer until Chelsea opted to extend his contract until the end of this season.
