Cool Bohs cruise past Galway

BOHS kept their outside chances of the title alive with an easy win over 10-man Galway at Terryland last night.

Cool Bohs cruise past Galway

The visitors hit the front in the ninth minute as Killian Brennan drilled a 30-yard free-kick past Conor Winn.

Galway’s hopes disappeared in the space of 60 seconds early in the second half. They were reduced to 10 men in the 56th minute when Stephen Walsh picked up his second yellow card.

The resulting free-kick was played into the United box, where Christy Fagan went down under a challenge from Yob Son, and the striker dusted himself down to send Winn the wrong way from 12 yards.

Fagan grabbed his second of the night three minutes from time from close range.
