Arshavin laments lack of composure

ANDREY ARSHAVIN says Russia’s failure to beat Ireland was down to a lack of composure in front of goal.

Russia had 26 efforts on the Ireland goal over the course of a one-sided affair on Tuesday but were unable to find the net as Giovanni Trapattoni’s men escaped Moscow with a point after a scoreless draw.

“We just didn’t show enough composure in front of goal,’’ Arshavin told uefa.com.
