Limerick lose valuable ground as Salthill strike late

LIMERICK FC dropped what could prove to be two precious points after a performance that flattered to deceive at Jackman Park last night.

Denis Behan opened the scoring when he volleyed home in the first minute after Ray Winters headed a Brian McCarthy cross into his path.

Behan hit the side netting from a tight angle on 59 minutes, following a Gaffney flick on off a Shaun Kelly cross as the hosts threatened.
