MANCHESTER UNITED winger Robbie Brady will be looking to put a disappointing few months at international level behind him tonight when he spearheads Ireland’s attack for the U21 friendly against Austria at the Showgrounds, Sligo (6pm).

The 19-year-old, who made his full league debut for on-loan club Hull City last Friday against Blackpool, was the high-profile casualty from Paul Doolin’s U19 squad for last month’s European Championships in Romania.

Doolin’s former captain Brady, along with his new U21 boss Noel King, was yesterday eager to move on from the disagreement which centred on his failure to report for the U19 elite qualifiers in May.
