Long pounces as Blues shock Liverpool

LIVERPOOL’S visit to the RSC last night ended in shock as the Blues claimed victory thanks to a fantastic header from midfielder Seamus Long.

Played in front of 5,000 fans, the home side deserved the win as they peppered the Liverpool goal during the course of a first half.

After Gary Keane had a close-range effort ruled out for offside on 51 minutes, the goal arrived on 65 minutes.
