ENGLAND international Jay Bothroyd believes this season could be the start of something special at Loftus Road after signing for QPR yesterday.

The 29-year-old penned a three-year deal to become Neil Warnock’s first summer signing, before the former Sheffield United boss moved to add veteran former England international Kieron Dyer to his ranks.

Bothroyd has been a free agent since leaving npower Championship outfit Cardiff at the end of last season and hopes to bring his impressive form in south Wales to his new club.
