Busy Mancini captures Savic

UNPERTURBED by the latest twist in the Carlos Tevez saga, Manchester City completed their second signing in three days yesterday — and it appears unlikely Roberto Mancini will halt his spending just yet.

Montenegro defender Stefan Savic has followed Gael Clichy to Eastlands in a deal worth around £10m ahead of the team’s departure for a pre-season tour of the United States tomorrow.

Mancini is also hoping to bring in another striker, with Napoli’s Argentinian front man Ezequiel Lavezzi apparently on City’s radar.
