ARSENE WENGER has committed his future to Arsenal and insisted he intends to see out the remaining three years on his contract.

The Frenchman, who has come in for criticism this week as the prospect of losing midfielders Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri grows ever more likely, urged Gunners fans to be patient at the club’s transfer strategy.

“I’m very happy at Arsenal,” said Wenger. “One sign of intelligence in life is to not always want what you don’t have. Appreciate what you have. I work in conditions that every coach dreams of. I’ll be eternally grateful to my club because I work with a philosophy and freedom that I like.”
