SHANE LONG’S 24th and 25th goals of the season proved his most priceless as Reading convincingly saw off Cardiff to set up a Wembley date with Swansea in the npower Championship play-off final.

The Royals won 3-0 at the Cardiff City Stadium for an aggregate win by the same scoreline, with Jobi McAnuff putting the finishing touches to the success after Long had scored twice.

Reading are now 90 minutes away from the Barclays Premier League and an estimated £90m windfall.
