Iker reckons to put a few squid on Real victory

REMEMBER Paul the Octopus? Well he has a successor. Iker the Octopus predicted a draw in the first El Clasico, a win for Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey and the Madridistas for tonight’s Champions League semi-finals at the Bernabeu.

Yesterday’s decision was the toughest for Iker who took 20 minutes to finally make up his mind and chose the sardine in the tube that had the Real Madrid logo inside it.

But before you take out the wallet to lay a bet a few words of warning, it may be a fix.

The 16kg Pacific Ocean octopus, at the Sea Life Aquarium in the southern Spanish city of Benalmadena, near Malaga, is named after Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas.
